Large rooms equipped with whiteboards, tables, and chairs for group study or collaborative work on the 3rd and 4th floors of McWherter Library. Room capacities vary.
- Group Study Rooms are Collaborative Zones designated for normal-volume conversation that does not disturb others, according to the University Libraries Courtesy & Noise Policy. Please be considerate of those around you, as nearby areas are designated Quiet (3rd Floor) and Silent (4th Floor) Zones.
- All current UM faculty, staff & students may reserve this space.
- Reservable for academic work, projects, & meetings.
- Occupancy may not exceed the capacity for each room.
- Not reservable for recurring sessions.
- May be reserved for up to 4 hours & up to 30 days in advance.
- Room must be vacated if reserved.
- For events or larger meetings, reserve an event space.
NOTE: When using the Group Study Rooms or other collaborative spaces in the library, students must follow the “Behavioral Expectations and Responsibilities” set forth in the Student Code of Rights and Responsibilities.
