Join us for an inspiring and thought-provoking talk with Amy Chu, acclaimed comic book writer for DC and Marvel, known for her work on iconic female characters like Red Sonja, Poison Ivy, and Emma Frost. Amy is also the co-founder of an independent publishing imprint Alpha Girl Comics, amplifying women’s voices in comics. With degrees from MIT and Harvard Business School, and a career spanning international non-profits, business, and creative writing, Amy will speak on the “Multiverse” of our own life choices—sharing how her diverse experiences shaped her journey into the world of comics. Whether you're a fan of graphic novels, curious about creative careers, or exploring your own path, this event promises insight, inspiration, and great conversation.

Free and open to the campus community and general public! Hosted by Helen Hardin Honors College in partnership with the UofM Libraries. Free Pizza & Beverages provided by the UoM's Women's and Gender Studies program. Pizza served at 4:00. Main event begins at 4:30pm.
