Dr. Kenneth Haggerty, Associate Dean for Innovation and Scholarly Engagement at the University Libraries, will present “Using Research Methods to Develop a University Libraries Strategic Plan.” In the Summer and Fall of 2023, the University Libraries Strategic Planning Response Committee conducted focus groups with all University Libraries departments to gather feedback to help create a new strategic plan to correlate with the University Level Strategic Plan, ASCEND. The Response Committee also distributed a survey to faculty and students at the University of Memphis to collect additional feedback. In Dr. Haggerty’s presentation, he will review the results of the focus groups and surveys and will provide details on the new University Libraries Strategic Plan.
