Research Skills for Graduate Students Webinar: I Don't Have a(i) Clue: Creating Ethical GenAI Guidelines for Your Practice Online
This interactive workshop will feature a discussion about encountering varying AI policies in higher education. The massive growth of GenAI as a co-creator has led to deep disagreements in terms of how and when GenAI should be used. However, out of disagreements comes new knowledge. Together, we will compare three AI policies from University of Memphis instructors and brainstorm new approaches for personal use, especially in the absence of an official GenAI policy. Participants will leave with a digital guideline document that can be modified and adapted for personal use.
