Writing Thursdays with the CWC
Are you looking for a quiet space to do focused writing? Whether it’s a paper for a class, your thesis or dissertation, or a manuscript for publication, if you need a place where you can concentrate on writing, please utilize “Writing Thursdays!”
The Course Reserves Room in the McWherter Library will be made available for graduate student use on Thursdays from 12-4pm with an onsite writing consultant who can assist you with questions you might have about your writing project. Please be advised that this space is for individuals to work quietly on their own writing, not for collaborative group work (which should be done in other areas of the library). There will also be short writing tutorials on different topics related to writing for those who are interested! See attached document for possible topics. This service will start on Thursday, February 23rd!
Please contact Chuck Robinson (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions about the writing consulting services and/or writing tutorials he will be offering.
All other questions or concerns should be sent to Yasuko Kanamori (email@example.com).
Thanks for your interest in our research consultation. I look forward to working with you on your research! University Libraries has a ton to offer, so it helps to have someone show you the ropes!
Please bring with you:

- any research you may have started (physical or digital)
- laptop (if you have one)
- any questions/frustrations you're having
If my availability doesn't work with yours, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
